I make the following recipe three days per week, in the morning. Each recipe makes two servings, and I drink it six days a week. (Saturday is my "cheat" aka fun breakfast day.) The recipe makes 34-36 oz, and I split it roughly 40/60. I make it on my non-exercise aka rest days (Sun/Tue/Thu), and drink the smaller portion (~14-16 oz) then. I save and drink the larger portion (20-22 oz) on my workout days (Mon/Wed/Fri) -- plus on those days it's ready to drink! In a large, powerful blender... --1 organic banana --2 raw cage-free eggs and 1/2 cup of egg whites (about 5-6 eggs' worth total) --1/2 cup organic blueberries (frozen or raw depending on season) --2 heaping tablespoons of toasted wheat germ --2 heaping tablespoons of organic chia seed --2 heaping tablespoons of raw organic hemp seed --3-4 big leaves raw organic kale (Note: each week I divide one "head" or bag of kale into three portions) --About 1/4 cup lowfat cottage cheese (sometimes organic) --About 1/2 cup nonfat yogurt (sometimes organic) --1/2 cup homemade granola (the recipe) --1/2 cup unsweetened organic soymilk --1/2 cup organic skim milk For 8-10 months in the 2018 timeframe, I included the following, but felt it was too many calories, so stopped. --1/4 cup of EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
