			Upon hearing that the supply of Opal water, needed to fight the spreading
			sickness, was threatened due to the attacks of "lizardlike creatures";
			Brag and I headed south to check it out and see if we could help. On the
			road we met a caravan coming from the beach that had been attacked the
			night before, one man was injured by a spear. We found the cave and began
			exploring. At first we found nothing very dangerous (a few giant
			centipedes), then we were attacked by a strange lizard-like thing that
			could blend with the walls. It was a large lump with a huge mouth. We've
			since found out that its commonly called a "Trog-dog" and is used by
			troglodytes as a guard creature.
			And sure enough, no sooner had we dispatched the trog-dog, then we saw a
			few kobolds. Upon chasing them we ran into a troglodyte and a couple of
			kobolds. After defeating them, we decided to return to town.
			Our next foray pretty much finished off the exploration and mapping. There
			are a few other areas that might be worth checking, but covered most of
			it.
			
			Why am I wearing a completely new outfit you ask? Well, lets just say that
			soaking in Ochre Jelly acid is bad on the wardrobe. 
			What happened was that while exploring we had hit a dead end (deep chasm)
			and had started back the way we came when we noticed a large blob moving
			toward us along the ceiling. It lashed out at me and managed to engulf me
			before I could get a spell off. When Brag attempted to cut it off me he
			cut it into two creatures that each rapidly grew to the size of the
			original. After several rounds of trying to get it off me (Swords, fists,
			and electricity all just created more of these things). We were in very
			dire straits. Brag and I were severly wounded and there were 5 of these
			things. I was still struggling with one of them on my head, managing to
			keep it from burning me with its acid at the expense of my clothes. We
			fled a short ways (me with the jelly on my head) to the chasm edge. Brag
			maanged to get the jelly off of me and throw it down the chasm. I was then
			able to destroy the others with my spells.
			Anything Brag says about me running around screaming "get it offa me!!!"
			is less then true.

			[Editor's Note: We learned later that our intrepid heroes encountered one
			more creature on their way out: a troglydyte hiding in the shadows. However,
			Brag again proved his mighty prowess, and felled it with a single blow, such
			that Tyrvail wasn't sure the foul-smelling creature had even been there...]
